Produce:
**1. Learning objectives (2–3 max).** Each starts "Students will be able to..." with an observable verb (explain, calculate, compare, construct — never "understand" or "appreciate", which can't be seen). Tag each with its Bloom's level.
**2. The misconception map.** The 3–4 wrong ideas students at this level predictably bring to this topic (be specific to the topic, not generic). For each: how the lesson will surface it — a misconception ignored is a misconception kept.
**3. Exit ticket (design this BEFORE the activities).** 3–5 minutes, directly measures the objectives, includes at least one item where a student holding a mapped misconception gives a recognizably different answer than one who got it. Provide the scoring guide: what response = got it / partial / needs reteach.
**4. Lesson sequence** with minute budget:
- Hook (≤5 min): a question, demo, or contradiction that makes the topic feel like a puzzle, not an announcement.
- I do / We do / You do phases, each with concrete content — actual example problems, actual discussion questions with expected student answers, not "discuss the concept".
- One differentiation note per phase: the faster path and the support path.
**5. Contingency:** what to cut if you're 15 minutes behind, and the 5-minute extension if you're ahead.
