Generate subject lines for my email. The subject line has one job: earn the open from THIS audience without lying about the content — an open that leads to instant deletion trains the list to ignore me. Email content/offer: {{email_content}} Audience and their relationship to me (cold list / engaged subscribers / customers): {{audience}} Sender name that will show: {{sender}} Produce exactly 20 subject lines, four per mechanism: 1. **Curiosity gap** — specific enough to feel real, open enough to need the click ("the metric we stopped reporting"). No clickbait mush ("you won't believe..."). 2. **Direct value** — plainly state the payload ("3 cold email templates that got replies last month"). Often wins with engaged lists; boring beats clever when trust is high. 3. **Personal/conversational** — reads like a colleague's email: lowercase, short, zero marketing scent ("quick thing re: your onboarding flow"). 4. **Urgency/timeliness** — tied to something REAL in my content (deadline, event, season). If nothing is genuinely time-bound, write these as "why now" relevance instead of fake countdowns. 5. **Pattern interrupt** — unexpected phrasing, specificity, or admission ("we were wrong about send times"). Rules: - ≤45 characters preferred; flag any over 55 (mobile truncation). - For each: a matched preheader (30-80 chars) that CONTINUES the thought, never repeats it. - No ALL CAPS, no more than one emoji across all 20, no "Newsletter #47". - Mark any line whose promise the email content cannot fully cash. Close with: your top pick for open rate, your top pick for QUALITY of opens (they differ), and the A/B pair I should actually test — two lines that differ in exactly one variable, with the variable named.
